Moin! I‘m Lena Schmidt – the founder of Spirit & Bones – a german painter and graphic designer. From 2003 to 2011 I studied Fine Arts in Hamburg with professor Matt Mullican and from 2015 to 2019 I studied graphic design with a focus on type design at HAW Hamburg Department Design with the well known type designer and calligrapher professor Jovica Veljović. I love everything that has to do with creative work. With the founding of Spirit & Bones, I laid the foundation for a deeper and long-term engagement with the fascinating world of design.

My Spirit & Bones Foundry published it‘s first font family Schneidler Latein in 2020 and continues to bring you some Type Design Jewels.
